Rosie Cupcake from Digi Doodle Studios!

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday to you all.   Hope you will pop on over to Digi Doodle Studios Blog to check out my post there today and also so you can check out what the other DT gals have been up to.  I wish for you all time to yourself, and hopefully some crafting time as well.   Life has been super busy here with 3 of my 4 kids doing school sports this fall.  I am tired!

Have you visited Digi Doodle Studios Shop recently?  Make sure to head on in and check out all the amazing products.  You will find adorable digi images and digi paper sets, with new items being added all the time.

Today I want to introduce you to Rosie Cupcake - such a "sweet" image:).    I love birthday images because you can never have too many birthday cards in your stash!  I colored this wonderful image with my Copics and a few Atyou Spicas and Sakura pens.  I used the following Copics:

Hair E44, Y26, YR21, E50
Skin E04, E11, E21, E00, R32, R30
Dress C5, V09, V17, V15, V12, V01
T-shirt BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10
Purple flower V09, V17, V15, V12
Pink Icing, Bow and Socks YR09, RV29, RV25, RV23

I highlighted the image using V000 and the ground is Y26 and Y23 blended out with water brush filled with Copic Colorless Blender.  Here is a closer view of the image.  Lots of awesome details to color on this image.

I am not sure what you call this fold, but I really like how it looks, I think it displays the image really nicely.  I chose papers from Creative Imaginations, hemp cord from Darice, eyelet from We R Memory Keepers and fabric flowers from my stash.  Sentiment is from Avery Elle clear stamp and cut with Hot Off the Press die.  Sure hope you like it!

Hope you will check out Rosie Cupcake in the shop - we'd all love to see you color the image and share it on Facebook and other social media!!  Wishing you a wonderful remainder of the week and look forward to seeing you all again next week.

BELLA BUTTERFLY at Digi Doodle Studios!

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday to you all.  I am here to share my latest creation using an image from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  I hope you are having a fabulous week and have had time to stop by Digi Doodle Studios Shop and check out all the amazing products.   Our super talented artist and owner, Dina, is adding adorable new digi stamps and awesome digital paper sets all the time, so make sure to pay a visit to Digi Doodle Studios Shop!

Today I want to introduce you to Bella Butterfly - such a stunning image.  I colored this adorable image with my Copics and a few Atyou Spicas.  I used the following:

Hair E49, E59, E47, E27, E37

Skin E04, E11, E21, E00, R32, R30

Dress E09, YR09, YR07, YR04, RV99, RV95

I highlighted the image using BG11 and then blending it out with a water brush filled with Copic Colorless blender solution.  I also added ground with E35 and E53.  I had wanted to cut image and backing with my Cameo but could not get it to cut at all tonight, which is super frustrating, not sure the issue, but wound up cutting both image and piece behind with scissors and then using mounting squares so the image pops a little bit out from the background.

I created a shadow box this week using a precut pattern from Heartfelt Creations.  I used Basic Grey papers, bling flourishes from Zva Creative, bling butterflies and dots from Darice, flowers from I Am Roses and sentiment from Stampendous, which is cut with Nestie.

Hope you will check out Bella Butterfly in the shop - we'd all love to see you color the image and share it on Facebook and other social media!!  Wishing you a wonderful remainder of the week and look forward to seeing you all again next week.

Hugs!

Happy Wednesday, I am super late with today’s post due to my schedule being crazy since last week.  My youngest daughter is running cross country this year and she has had 7:30am practices the past 2 weeks.  Since I am on “summer schedule,” getting up so early has really thrown my whole last week and a half completely out of whack.  At least when I go back to having to get up at 6am next week, it shouldn’t be as badWinking smile
Anyway, it's time for a New Challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.   If you are unfamiliar with The Paper Shelter Shop, I suggest that you go pay a visit, they have so many awesome images and they come with digi papers, backgrounds, etc.  Plus, there's a customer rewards program that is awesome.   Trust me, you will love it!!   Don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter and you will get notices of all SALES and other SPECIALS going on!

Jenny Poolside at DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS SHOP

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday to you all.  These past couple weeks have been insane as we are gearing up for the kids to go back to school, the boys have had soccer tryouts, my oldest is getting her braces off and going to her first college open house this week and my youngest is running cross country and started practices this week in the mornings, so it's been a bit of a whirlwind here!

Today is my share day on the DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS BLOG.   Have you visited Digi Doodle Studios Shop recently?  Make sure to head on in and check out all the amazing products.  You will find adorable digi images and digi paper sets, with new items being added all the time.

I 'd like you to introduce you to Jenny Poolside, such a cute image and I just love her little doggie friend.  I wish my dogs would come that close to the edge of the pool - they are terrified of it and won't come within several feet! LOL  Anyway, I colored this lovely girl and her sweet puppy with my Copics and some Atyou Spicas added for a little sparkle on the trim of her shirt and the frames of her sunglasses.

I used a fancy fold this week, I cannot remember the exact name of this frame, but I do know in can be found on Splitcoast Stampers.  I made a larger version of this fold so I could use a larger image - I like to be able to see all the little details of the image so I usually print them at 3.5 - 4 inches in height.  Image is cut out with Tattered Lace die and daubed with Distress Ink.   I chose this fun sentiment from a clear stamp set and cut out with a stitched die from my stash.  My papers are Echo Park and Fancy Pants.  I added ribbon from my stash as well as a flower from K and Co.  I have also included a close up version of the image, I sure hope you like it, I really had fun coloring the edge and deck area of the pool - I added texture using colorless blender on a piece of canvas fabric - hope you are able to see it from this photo.

Hope you will check out Jenny Poolside in the shop - we'd all love to see you color her up and share it on Facebook and other social media!!  Wishing you a wonderful remainder of the week and look forward to seeing you all again next week.

    Hugs!
